CLUB MEETING INFORMATION

 

The Tyler Amateur Radio Club meets every third Thursday of every month at the Shiloh Rd. Church Of Christ at Shiloh and Paluxy  Tyler, TX at 7:00 p.m. Club meetings are open to all interested persons, ham and non-ham alike, regardless of club membership.

The Tyler Amateur Radio Club also conducts a weekly net on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. on the club's 147.00 MHz repeater. The net is open to all licensed hams regardless of club membership.

2010 Skywarn Training

Skywarn leader, Don, K5LOW, has announced, the 2010 Skywarn training will be conducted at the regular, 3rd. Thursday TARC meeting, January, 21st. The meeting will start promptly, at 6:00 PM with training to start at 6:30. The time change is necessary to allow enough time for the instructors to cover all the information without being rushed or cutting the class short. Trainers will be from the National Weather Service in Shreveport, La. We will try to have heavy snacks.

This will be a "Roll Call" net.

At the end of the roll call, any other listeners will be asked to check in.
