The Palestine Anderson County ARC holds a social net every Monday night at 7:30 PM CDT (7:00 PM CST) on 147.080+ 103.5 tone.  The net is to share news, views, opinions and information of interest to amateur radio operators.  The net is open to anyone with a technician class license or higher. The Palestine Anderson County ARC meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM at the clubhouse on the corner of Caplin Drive and Easy Street.  The meeting is open to anyone interested in amateur radio.  An ARRL VE test session follows each meeting. The Palestine Anderson County ARC maintains a webpage at www.pacarc.org which lists club sponsored events, message boards, news and information.  There are also some excellent photos of ARRL Fieald Day. TARC two meter net on the 147.000 repeater, 88.5 Tone on Mondays at 8:00 PM.

Net control is assigned by the "net control chairman, Don, K5LOW".

 

All hams with a tech license or greater are welcome to check into the net.

East Texas Emergency Comunications Services Net is Held On The Last Monday Of The Month AT 7:00 PM On The 145.210 repeater, 88.5 Tone. Net Control Is KC5SMC, Bob Sanford

 

Athens Amateur Radio Club Monday Night Net At 8:00 PM on the 147.22 repeater + 136.5 tone

 

Marshall Amateur Radio Club 2 Meter Net Tuesdays Nights @ 8pm On the 146.860 repeater no tone

 

Cedar Creek Amateur Radio Club 2-Meter Net Tuesday Nights @ 8pm On the 146.900 repeater  136.5 tone 

 

Cherokee County Amateur Radio Club Net Thursday Nights @ 8PM except for 1st Thursday; That is club meeting night. It is held on the  146.800 repeater,  -600 offset and 136.5 tone  They Rotate Net Control Ops, so you have to check in to find out who is Net Control.

 

WOODCARS net meets on Friday nites at 8 pm on the club repeater 147.12, no tone at this time. Everyone is invited to check in and we do handle formal and informal traffic. Net control is Dennis, KW5G or Roy, KL7BZ .

 

Sidewinders On Two Net, For Those Who Have Side-Band Capability, Saturday @ 7 AM On 144.250

 

For those Amateur Radio Operators New to this net and / or new to this area there are a couple of Packet Radio Systems available.

 

The local A. R. Packet Cluster System Located on the Simplex Frequency of 144.990. The trustee for this System is Ed Wilkinson, N1EW You may connect to this System using a basic Packet Radio System.

 

The 145.010 K5TYR node is accessed by entering the address "TYR" and can cross to the N1EW system.
